As the camera shifts into focus, GM folk can be seen addressing a room full of i-News reporters.
"Friends, employees, the media.. I would first and foremost like to thank you for being here and for letting me address the current issue in IWWF. As you know our champion was assaulted last week before his match by a currently unknown assailant. He was shot twice at medium range by a nine millimeter bullet and was hit in his shoulder and upper bicep - both non-life threatening wounds. After our Champion's constant effort to leave the hospital before being fully treated, IWWF Staff and his doctors were left with no other recourse than to have the champion sedated - preventing him from leaving the ER. After an one hour surgery, the bullet fragments were successfully removed and the champ was resting fine.. however.."
The surrounding media can be seen waiting to hear the next part of the statement.
"The staff here at IWWF's number one goal is to ensure the safety of our workers - so much that we pride ourselves on it. IWWF is the first and only i-fed still around and we contribute our run mostly on the hard work of those behind the screens. However, to address rising reports in the industry that the champion was involved in a further incident.. Yes. As of Wednesday night, iWWF and crime scene investigators have been working on the disappearance of said Heartbrand from his hospital room."
A collective gasp from the room can be heard as reporters start to explode in their seats..
"At this point in time there is not a lot to go on, however at this time there are two persons of interest in the matter. We have been asked to advise anyone seeing iWWF wrestler's nettocash or Ice - to please contact your local police department. Remember that at this time these two are only people of interest with the ongoing case. We are dedicated to ensuring the safe return of our champion and at this time we decline any further comment."
