Greetings, this is your General Manager of IWWF, Ice, responsible for IWWF booking and event scheduling. It has come to my attention that many of you are concerned with what is going on for the future of IWWF. Well let me be so kind as to address some issues. (If you only want to read ONE of these, please pick no. 4 as it is a real need to know basis) [/b]
1. We're definetly going to have to put new use to the IWWF board, we're going to be a more communicative community. As we're going to need it for Power To The People voting.
2. Please be aware that it may be a mistake that I have made and it is a double-edged sword that I've set some linearly flowing booking processes based on how I think "plotlines" (meaning the order of how matches should happen) should go. It's nothing personal against any IWWF individual, business before personal issues.
3. Wrestlemania will be held in August this year because the more we wait, the worse it will be for our beloved Royal Rumble winner and we already want to reduce any further damage to the individuals Wrestlemania outing. Which means, IWWF Summerslam 2011 will have to be canceled in place of our emergency held Wrestlemania. I've made this decision because we also need to free up title pictures to new contenders. I plan on having IWWF turned over a fully new leaf.
4. There will be a new system to calculate our new number one contender for the IWWF championship. Effective with July 4th's Monday night iMPACT card. Here's how it will work.
It is advisable that you do all of your matches on the card, for being that the more points you earn with this system, the higher in contendership you will be, now, July's Main Event Pay-Per-View: Power To The People is already set in stone as the writers behind the scenes have already stuck to a set story. August's PPV will be Wrestlemania, in which the Royal Rumble Winner needs to have his title shot. So this setting will be active from July 4th to Wrestlemania and whoever has the most points by the end of Wrestlemania (by the begining of the next iMPACT Card after Wrestlemania) will be our No.1 contender for the September Pay-Per-View which has yet to be confirmed for a name. After Wrestlemania, each round will last from the first impact after every PPV to the next PPV and whoever has the most points at the end of a round becomes, no.1 contender for our new I may throw in a twist that may involve the 2nd place, 3rd place, or fourth place winners for the system. If the 1st place person happens to BE the champion, it will drop down to our 2nd place person.
Winning Points
Pinfall = 1pt
Submission = 2pts
Disqualification = 1pt
Forfeit = 1pt
Winning a Specialty Match does not have a Submission Option = Will be given by the $rand code which will spit out either 1 or 2pts. (Please do not complain about "riggage")
An Elimination Type match will have the points be distributed based on rank. The earliest person will always be given -1 points.
(EX. 4-man match, first person to be eliminated is -1, 2nd is 0, 3rd is 1 and the winner gets 2)
Winning a Pay-Per-View Match = 2x
Losing Points
Getting Pinned in a Sudden Death Multiperson Match = -1pt
Not Doing your match = -2pts (Will be determined who is at fault via. IWWF Management)
Not Doing a Pay-Per-View Match = -4pts
Negative Points will not be multiplied at a Pay-Per-View, they will stand as regular deductions
So this means, showing up and doing your match will be taken into account, those who do not show up will be penalized! (Please provide a notice of leave/abscence in advance to avoid issues)
There will be a briefer version of this new system, that I will simply call The Point System in a later post to separate it from this one.
5. IWWF is a game! Refbot wrestling is an IRC game, just have fun with it, everyone will get their opportunities. I want to make IWWF exciting and different with each card.
Regards,
Your IWWF General Manager and Head of Event Coordination,
Ice
